Inward and Outward Research Visits

Inward/Outward Research Visits are aimed at providing the opportunity for QMUL researchers to spend time in another institution with the aim of establishing new multidisciplinary collaborations or developing/learning new techniques. Alternatively funding may be provided for non-QMUL researchers to spend time engaged in research at QMUL. In both cases, key funding criteria will be the demonstration that funding will enhance multidisciplinary research capacity at QMUL. Accordingly, funding bids are unlikely to be successful if the technique or expertise associated with the visit is already available at QMUL. In addition matching funding will be expected from other sources. Funding for travel, subsistence and appropriate running costs will be considered and applications.
